This course is designed to provide practical and theoretical training around the gift of preaching and its use in a local church setting.

Whether you currently preach often or have never been in the pulpit before, this course will provide an excellent grounding on not only the basics of preaching, but also the role and development of communication techniques, Scripture interpretation, and sermon preparation.

Main topics will include:

• The biblical role that preaching has in the body of Christ today;
• The role and art of narrative and story-telling in biblical preaching;
• Practical do's and don't in sermon preparation; and 
• Delivery Understanding various preaching styles and how and when to use them
