John and Sandra Snelgrove

John and Sandra came to Hong Kong in 1987 and arrived at the church in 1995, having served at a church in Pokfulam for over 7 years. John retired from AXA Insurance in 2003 to work full time at The Vine. They too have made Hong Kong their family home and are committed to staying here. They demonstrate pastors' hearts for the city and are respected in many of the Chinese and international churches throughout Hong Kong. They been widely used in the areas of evangelism and personal prayer ministry, and are both Executive Advisors to the Alpha course in Hong Kong, of which John is the Chairman of the Board. They have led a number of Vine overseas mission trips and share a heart for missions.

Sandra is responsible for The Vine's Soul Sisters ministry for ladies and has an powerful anointing for prayer and healing. John has had the opportunity to share his gift of encouragement and vision in many pulpits around Hong Kong and overseas, and is a certified Communion With God Faciltator, having completed bachelors’ and masters’ programmes with Christian Leadership University. They have two married sons and three grandchildren, but have been, and are, spiritual parents to many, both in their home and outside.
