FUNDRAISING //The fundraising team is split into five sub-groups; each sub-group focuses on a particular area such as Vine events, overseas & HK connections, government grants, individual donors and companies. We are encouraging every member of the Vine to join the VC2 tithing scheme. Commit to giving an amount sacrificially and consistently. For example, you may find it hard to give $12K today as you read this, but probably easier to commit to tithing $1K a month for twelve months. The amount that you decide to tithe is of course, up to you, our God loves a cheerful giver (2 Cor 9v7). We believe VC2 will not be built by a few individuals but by the entire church family; by everyone contributing with their own three Ts to VC2.
Fundraising Status
Fundraising Status The fundraising effort for this project continues to be an uplifting experience. Renovating the building to current standards continues to require a significant financial investment. It has been a fascinating and faith-building journey to see how the timely provision of finances has matched the mounting monthly bills. Below is a chart showing how much we have raised so far and how much further we need to go to reach our target of $58M:
